Canadian hedge fund shines with 95% YTD (through August)

Toronto-based Rosseau Asset Management Ltd's Rosseau LP hedge fund continued its performance winning streak last month, raising its year-to-date return to more than 95% through August. The event-driven and special situations fund was up 16.7% in August after gaining 6.1% in July and 12.5% in June, blowing past the 0.3% return of the Barclay Group's event-driven index in August as well as its -0.4% return in July and 0.2% gain in June.
