Chief executive of Citigroup's Tribeca Global Management unit, Tanya Styblo Beder, stepped down from her post last week and Dean Barr, who heads liquid investments at Citigroup Alternative Investments, will step into the position while retaining his existing responsibilities, according to published reports.

Citigroup also appointed Oliver Dobbs as chief investment officer of Tribeca and Dan McAuliffe as chief operating officer.

Ms. Beder will remain an adviser to Tribeca.

Citigroup is still in the process of searching for a chairman and chief executive for its alternatives division to replace Michael Carpenter, who left the company earlier this year.

Tribeca is a roughly $2 billion hedge fund with offices in New York, London and Singapore.
