Toronto, Ontario - Man Investments Canada Corp., a subsidiary of the Man Investments division of Man Group plc, announces today that Andrew Doman has joined the firm as Chief Operating Officer.
Mr. Doman will be responsible for the overall supervision of the firm’s operational processes and policies and will report directly to Toreigh Stuart, Chief Executive Officer of Man Investments Canada Corp.
Mr. Doman brings extensive experience to the firm with over 12 years of experience in senior operations positions. Most recently, he held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Abria Alternative Investments Inc., a Toronto-based hedge fund manger. Mr. Doman holds his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Toronto.
Man Investments has been at the forefront of the international alternative investment industry for over two decades. The firm has launched over 450 alternative investment vehicles and manages over US$54.0 billion worldwide (estimated as of June 30, 2006).
