Fiera Capital announces executive appointments |

John Valentini has joined the Fiera Capital global team as
Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer. The firm has also promoted Sylvain Roy to President and Chief Operating
Officer of it’s Canadian division, effective 1 October, 2015. Both will be
reporting directly to Sylvain Brosseau, Fiera Capital’s global President and
Chief Operating Officer.

Valentini is an industry veteran with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in
corporate finance and investment management. At Fiera Capital, he will spearhead
the finance, operations and information technology, legal and compliance, and
enterprise risk management functions as well as play a key role in strategic
initiatives. Prior to joining Fiera Capital, he was executive vice president,
chief financial officer and chief operating officer of PSP Investments, one of
Canada’s largest pension investment managers. Before he joined PSP investments
as chief financial officer in 2005, he held a series of key executive roles in
corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate restructuring for
public companies.

Valentini.
With the firm since 2004, Sylvain Roy has more than 18 years of industry
experience. He was appointed chief investment officer in December 2013, and his
prior experience also includes positions as senior portfolio manager –
quantitative strategies and financial engineering, vice president – global asset
allocation, as well as quantitative analyst roles at major Canadian investment
management firms. In his new position, Roy will lead Fiera Capital’s Canadian
operating division and related activities including the Canadian chief
investment officer function.

our Canadian operations to the next stage of their growth,” says Roy.
Fiera Capital also recently appointed David Stréliski to the position of Senior
Vice-President and Chief Risk Officer. In this newly created position, reporting
to the Chief Financial Officer, Stréliski is responsible for overseeing
company-wide risk management. Most recently vice president – performance and
evaluation with the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, he has over 20 years
of experience in this field.
