CommonWealth Fund Services Named Best Canadian Hedge Fund Administrator

TORONTO October 23, 2014 - CommonWealth Fund Services Ltd., a leading Toronto-based fund administrator, has been named "Best Canadian Hedge Fund Administrator" at the 2014 Canadian Hedge Fund Awards. Now in its seventh year, the event combines education with recognition of performance excellence in the hedge fund industry. This was the first year the Canadian Hedge Fund Awards program was expanded to include service provider categories.

"We are thrilled to have been recognized as the outstanding administrator in Canada," said company Chairman John Clark, "because it reflects the dedication and strong client focus of our professional staff."

Vice-President Mackenzie Crawford said: "Being named Canada’s Best Hedge Fund Administrator is a great honour and a testament to the outstanding efforts of our staff, the power of our fully integrated technology platform, and the positive relationships we have built with our clients over the past seven years. We’ve come a long way and I am excited to see what is next for us."

CommonWealth Fund Services was recognized earlier this year with a Roll of Honour Award in the Global Custodian Hedge Fund Administration Survey. For the third straight year CommonWealth received the highest overall score among Canadian-founded administrators in this worldwide survey.
