CAYMAN ISLANDS - Bell Rock is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeffrey Shaul as an Independent Director, as it expands its fund governance practice.

CAYMAN, Cayman Islands -- Bell Rock is pleased to announce the
appointment of Jeffrey Shaul as an Independent Director, as it expands
its fund governance practice.
Jeffrey is a veteran investment industry executive with over 25 years of
experience in asset management, investment banking, mergers and
acquisitions and private equity. He was instrumental in the creation,
launch and management of various alternative investment vehicles in
Canada, many of which introduced breakthrough investment concepts.
Said David Lloyd, Managing Director of Bell Rock: “We are very excited
about Jeffrey joining our team, particularly in light of his portfolio
management expertise, which is rare in offshore non-executive directors.
Investors today are placing increasing importance on having board
members with portfolio and risk management skills, in addition to legal,
auditing and fund administration knowledge.”
Jeffrey’s expertise will complement those of David Lloyd, who has an
extensive track record in the asset management industry, including 3.5
years with Walkers Management Services (now Intertrust) providing
independent director services.
Jeffrey added: “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to work with Bell
Rock and look forward to bringing my funds management and investment
banking background to bear on the provision of director services.
Institutional investors are looking more and more for board members
with senior executive level experience who take a hands-on approach for
a limited number of boards.”
Jeffrey is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the CFA
institute and is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute. He is
registered with the Ontario Securities Commission as Exempt Market
Dealer, Portfolio Manager and Investment Fund Manager.
