Portfolio manager changes at Dynamic

Toronto-based GCIC Ltd., manager of the Dynamic Funds, Tuesday announced portfolio manager changes to certain funds, including the decision to end the sub-advisory relationship with Toronto-based Marret Asset Management Inc., effective immediately.

Marc-André Gaudreau, vice president and portfolio manager of Dynamic Funds, has been appointed lead portfolio manager of Dynamic High Yield Bond Fund, taking over from Marret.

Gaudreau joined Dynamic in October 2012 as part of the firm's focus to increase the depth of its investment management bench strength and fixed income investment capabilities and is the lead portfolio manager of Dynamic High Yield Credit Fund.

In addition, Domenic Bellissimo, vice president and portfolio manager of Dynamic, has been appointed as lead portfolio manager of Dynamic Corporate Bond Strategies Fund and Class, taking over from Marret.

Bellissimo has also been appointed as co-portfolio manager with Cecilia Mo, vice president and portfolio manager of Dynamic, of Dynamic Value Balanced Fund and Class, taking over from Marret. Mo has acted as lead portfolio manager on these funds since October 2011.

Bellissimo has been a member of the fixed income team led by Michael McHugh, vice president and portfolio manager, at Dynamic Funds since 2005 and brings his knowledge and expertise in investment-grade securities to the funds. He is currently a portfolio manager on Dynamic Advantage Bond Fund and Class, Dynamic Blue Chip Balanced Fund, Dynamic Blue Chip U.S. Balanced Class and Dynamic Short Term Bond Fund.

Mo has been a member of the team at Dynamic Funds since she joined the firm in October 2011. She is a multi-award winning money manager and has managed the following mandates, in addition to Dynamic Value Balanced Fund and Class, since joining the firm: Dynamic Value Fund of Canada, Dynamic Canadian Value Class, DMP Canadian Value Class, Dynamic Dividend Advantage Fund and Class, and DMP Value Balanced Class.

The investment objectives, investment strategies and approach of the impacted funds remain unchanged.
