The Dow Jones Credit Suisse Hedge Fund Index finished down 0.04% for the month of April.
Four of the broad index’s 10 sub-strategies recorded positive returns - Fixed Income Arbitrage (0.69%), Multi-Startegy (0.58%), Managed Futures (0.43%) and Emerging Markets (0.15%) – while Dedicated Short Bias was the worst performing sub-strategy at −2.53%.
There have not been any funds dropped from the Dow Jones Credit Suisse Hedge Fund Index in April.
The following funds have been added to the Dow Jones Credit Suisse Hedge Fund Index: Brevan Howard Systematic Trading Fund, Castle Creek Arbitrage, GS Gamma Investments Fund, HSBC GIF - GEM Debt Total Return Fund, Palisade Strategic Fund, RWC Samsara Fund, SSI Hedged Convertible Opportunity Fund, Visium Balanced Fund, and World Invest Absolute Strategy.
