Date: Monday, January 16, 2012
Author: Brian Bollen's Blog
The Alternative Investment Management Association says it has launched a new
website. It says the new site contains a number of new features and
functions designed to make it easier for our members, policymakers,
investors and other stakeholders to find information of value to them.
It can be found at the usual address: www.aima.org.
It adds that the centrepiece is an extremely comprehensive new section
dedicated to major regulatory and tax matters including AIFMD, Dodd-Frank,
FATCA, UCITS, MiFID, MAD, FTT, remuneration, derivatives reform and short
selling. You will find it under the ‘Regulation’ menu option on the home
page, with sub-sections titled ‘Asset Management Regulation’, ‘Markets
Regulation’ and ‘Tax Affairs’. Please note that many of the documents in the
Regulation section are for our members only.
The website’s other new features include:
A redesigned home page and inside pages;
A prominent set of rotating images on the home page that link to some of AIMA’s key publications;
Recent documents that are directly accessible from the home page for the first time;
A new ‘Education’ section devoted to its body of work for investors and practitioners including our DDQs and industry guides.
