From Theglobeandmail.com: The mystery surrounding missing diamonds and money from defunct hedge fund company Portus Alternative Asset Management Inc. deepened yesterday with the emergence of a woman known as Madam Ho Ho and a request to examine the wife of company co-founder Boaz Manor. …The seven transfers took place over a four-month period ended Sept. 29 when $179,526.61 was transferred from Madam Ho Ho's account at the Bank of China to the Israel Discount Bank. The receiver says more than $1.1-million was misappropriated by Mr. Manor because he had no authority to control the funds, which were Portus group property.
