The warm up event for the sixth annual Hedge Fund Rocktoberfest
is scheduled to take place on 16 September at Sullivan Hall in Manhattan.
Four bands made up of members of the hedge fund and financial services industry
will vie to see who has the chops to win the sixth and final slot in the lineup
for this year's Hedge Fund Rocktoberfest, the annual fundraiser for the charity
A Leg To Stand On.
The band that raises the most money and wins the judges' vote will also
perform at Altso's sixth annual Hedge Fund Rocktoberfest, to be held at B.B.
King Blues Club in Manhattan on 8 October.
'We never cease to be amazed at the enthusiasm and generosity of the hedge fund
industry bands that seek to join us at Rocktoberfest each year and this year is
no exception,' says Timothy Wheeler, a bankruptcy attorney with the law firm of
Lowenstein Sandler and lead singer with the band The Subscribers. 'In addition
to the five acts already on the roster, Stonehedge, Big Dog Party, Behind Closed
Doors and The Miracle will all be performing at Sullivan Hall in a competition
to determine who will get the sixth and final available spot on the big stage at
B.B. King's.'
A long time supporter of Altso, The Subscribers will perform both at Sullivan
Hall and B.B. King Blues Club.
