Investors in Portus hedge fund launch class action against Manulife Securities

From Canada.com: Investors who bought hedge funds from troubled Portus Alternative Asset Management Inc. launched a $240-million class-action lawsuit Tuesday against Manulife Securities International, the dealer that recommended the investment.
The suit is being brought by Peter Ormerod, 52, of Edmonton, who invested $100,000 of his retirement savings in the Portus fund through an account managed by a Manulife Securities financial adviser. For the full article see today's canada.com
