Societe Generale’s Paris-based hedge-fund team that ran the SGAM Alternative Investments portfolio has quit, La Tribune reported, without saying where it got the information.

The group was led by Arie Assayag, the newspaper said. He took about 15 people with him and plans to run a fund called Premium Asset Management, which hasn’t yet received clearance from the French stock market regulator, La Tribune said.
