Deloitte Also Selected as Best Accounting Firm by World's 100 Biggest Hedge Funds

Deloitte today announced it was selected as the top accounting firm in the Alpha Magazine 2008 Alpha AwardsTM by the Hedge Fund 100, Alpha's most exclusive ranking of the world's largest single-manager hedge funds. Hedge Fund 100 voters have consistently rated Deloitte as the pre-eminent accounting firm for four consecutive years.

In a year that proved to be a true test of the client-provider relationship, Deloitte surpassed its Big Four competitors in four out of five specific service categories, including audit, tax, hedge fund expertise and client service. Deloitte ranked second overall in audit and hedge fund expertise, and third overall in client service and tax.

The 2008 Alpha Awards surveyed more than 1,000 hedge fund firms representing an estimated $1.5 trillion in assets under management. The period surveyed was for the 12 months ended March 31, 2008.
