SFCS Capital to launch second fund of hedge funds

SFCS Capital Ltd, the Cayman-based fund management affiliate of Swiss Financial & Consulting Services SA, a Geneva-based wealth management firm, announced its intention to launch SFCS Titans, a Canadian offering entirely comprised of the leading global hedge funds.

“In conjunction with the recently announced intention to launch SFCS Legends, we are providing Canadian investors with an expanded set of the leading global hedge funds. Whereas SFCS Legends is a concentrated portfolio of up to 20 of these leading hedge fund managers, SFCS Titans is a diversified portfolio of up to 40 of the recognized leaders of the hedge fund industry,” says Claude Bovet, managing director and head of alternative strategies at SFCS Capital.

“SFCS Capital employs a passive management approach that is focused on monitoring the underlying funds for a breach of investment guidelines. Since there will not be any active management at the multimanager fund level, SFCS has elected to not charge any performance fees. In its essence, SFCS is providing Canadian investors with a unique opportunity to invest in a fund that provides access to the world’s best hedge fund managers at a very reasonable cost,” says Bovet.

SFCS Titans and SFCS Legends are available to accredited investors through registered dealer representatives or directly through the general partner in some provinces. SFCS Titans is an open-ended limited partnership offering monthly subscriptions and redemptions. SFCS Legends is a unique open-and-close-structure limited partnership offering monthly redemptions.
