StoneHedge Funds launches its new StoneHedge North American Long/Short Equity Fund.

StoneHedge Funds Inc. of Humboldt, Saskatchewan launched the StoneHedge North American Long/Short Equity Fund. This alternative investment vehicle is the first hedge fund from the Saskatchewan based StoneHedge, although its portfolio manager Andre Chabot has been running a similar mutual fund strategy open to registered retirement accounts. The long/short equity fund will trade both U.S. and Canadian stocks and unlike Mr. Chabot’s mutual fund, is not eligible for retirement accounts.
