The Association for Investment Management and Research, the worldwide professional association of financial analysts, portfolio managers and other investment professionals, is holding its annual conference from May 12-15 in Toronto. More than 1,000 members of the 57,000-member financial organization will be on hand for sessions and on a variety of industry topics, including new directions in financial reporting, valuation of today's stock markets, managing the global investment business, equity valuation issues, hedge funds, neuroscientific perspectives on investing behaviour, and more. The conference will be held at the Sheraton Centre Hotel in downtown Toronto. Former prime minister will deliver a speech entitled Trade and Leadership - The Linchpin of Global Economic Growth. Other featured speakers include William Tayor, co-editor in chief of Fast Company Magazine and Don Coxe, chairman and chief strategist Harris Investment Management, Inc.
