Man Investments and CIBC launch CIBC Man AHL Diversified Deposit Notes |

TORONTO - May 23, 2008 - Man Investments Canada Corp. (‘Man Investments Canada’) announces that Canadian investors can now access the AHL Diversified Programme as a structured note through the CIBC Man AHL Diversified Deposit Notes (the ‘Deposit Notes’). The Deposit Notes offer principal protection provided by Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (‘CIBC’) if held to maturity.
AHL, a core investment engine of Man Group, manages about USD 20.9 billion (at September 30, 2007) and trades in 140 markets globally, 24 hours a day. Managed futures have traditionally been an attractive portfolio addition because they are generally not correlated to traditional markets, such as stocks and bonds, and are able to perform in volatile markets. The underlying AHL Diversified Programme, has a track record of more than 17 years with an annualized return of 17.6%* (net of fees as of March 31, 2008).

Mr. Stuart added that since markets have been affected by the subprime crisis, the AHL Diversified Programme has returned 17.5%* (net of fees from July 1, 2007 to March 31, 2008).
The offer period for the CIBC Man AHL Diversified Deposit Notes ends June 25, 2008 with a minimum investment of CAD 5,000.
