Andima officially launches Hedge Fund Index

Today the National Association of Financial Market Institutions (Andima) officially launched the Andima Hedge Fund Index (IHFA) at a seminar in São Paulo entitled “Portfolio Reference Standards.”  The objective is to offer a performance reference for the sector.

The IHFA, composed of 103 funds, showed a 2.52% accumulated yield for this year, and a 0.97% accumulated yield for this month through May 12.  The index is scheduled to be released daily by Andima, with a delay of three workdays.
