IFIC launches Hedge Fund Appendix. Alliance with Canadian Hedge Watch bears fruit

The Investment Funds Institute of Canada and Canadian Hedge Watch Inc. are announcing the completion of the Hedge Fund Appendix written by Miklos Nagy, CEO of Canadian Hedge Watch. The appendix is designed to provide an overall understanding of hedge fund investments in Canada. It is intended for financial advisors and sophisticated investors, and is the first of an expected series of hedge fund related educational products under an IFIC and Canadian Hedge Watch strategic alliance announced on March 1. The Appendix is posted on IFIC's and CHW's Web sites and is also available to purchase for $99.00 through IFIC's phone line (416-363-2158 ext. 484). Nagy, together with Swift Trade Securities president Peter Beck is also writing a guide to hedge funds scheduled to be completed next year. Also on the publishing calendar, the president of the Canadian chapter of the Hedge Fund Association, Sergio Simone, is writing a book on hedge funds with iPerform CEO Toreigh Stuart.
