The CPP Investment Board has added a Fortress Investment Group veteran to lead its global capital markets group.

Ed Cass joins the Canada Pension Plan division after serving as chief investment officer of a Toronto-based Fortress hedge fund. Before joining Fortress, Cass worked at Merrill Lynch, TD Securities and Deutsche Bank in fixed-income capacities.
