@rgentum re-opens two more funds

@rgentum Management and Research Corp. announced Thursday that is has re-opened two funds for purchase by Canadian investors: @rgentum Canadian L/S Equity Portfolio; and @rgentum U.S. Market Neutral Portfolio. The two funds are the only existing Long/Short mutual funds available under prospectus in Canada at an initial minimum purchase of $500. They retail investors with access to a new asset class traditionally only available to high net worth individuals and institutional investors. Originally launched in May 2000, the two funds are available for purchase in all provinces of Canada through authorized distributors and dealers. The funds use no leverage and adhere to strict investment guidelines and risk management parameters. ChabotPage Investment Counsel Inc. headed by Andre Chabot has been the portfolio manager for these funds since their inception.
