Hedge Funds Care Canada to Host 4th Gala |

TORONTO (HedgeWorld.com)—Hedge Funds Care Canada will hold its Fourth Annual Open Your Heart to the Children Benefit in Toronto on Nov. 8. Hedge Funds Care Canada is part of the larger Hedge Funds Care alliance, composed of hedge fund industry professionals dedicated to the treatment and prevention of child abuse and neglect. The event will take place at the Stop 33 top-floor lounge at Sutton Place Hotel. Attendees can choose from four sponsorship opportunities depending on how much they want to contribute. At last year's gala, which was held at the same location, Hedge Funds Care Canada raised around $132,000 on behalf of Toronto-based child abuse prevention foundations Previous HedgeWorld Story. The gala begins with cocktails at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner. Hedge Funds Care was established in 1998 and has since raised nearly $24 million and awarded more than 400 grants to community-based nonprofit organizations.
