Voltrex's foreign exchange services for financial institutions, corporates and private individuals are now accessible globally through an internet browser-based thin client, avoiding the need to download software.
The foreign exchange platform offered by Voltrex, an FSA-regulated provider of alternative investment and specialist brokerage services specialist, is designed to facilitate foreign exchange transactions for private individuals and businesses as well as global futures and options and pan-European OTC and derivative equities.
According to Voltrex, the technology driving the VFX platform uses a very efficient data delivery technology to provide real time streaming prices that can be traded upon, and then settled, anywhere in the world over the internet.
'Our internet technology provides our clients with our currency services online, as an alternative approach to traditional voice broking,' says Voltrex Foreign Exchange managing director Graham Farrow.
'Our one-stop solution enables users to monitor their desired exchange rates, buy and sell, view balances and statements and make payments and settlements all at the click of a button, wherever they are located in the world.
'Unlike many online foreign exchange services, our platform offers full ASP access which means that no software has to be downloaded. This provides a truly flexible solution that is setting a new benchmark for the industry.'
Voltrex was established in 2001 by market professionals to provide specialist broking services to the financial industry and now employs more than 35 professionals based at its offices in the City of London.
