Credit Suisse Launches Index Strategies Fund

Credit Suisse has launched a fund targeting Australian investors. The new offering, the Credit Suisse/Tremont Index Strategies Fund, provides leveraged exposure to the Credit Suisse Tremont Index with daily liquidity.

“The fund provides retail investors with access to the performance of the industry’s most recognized asset weighted hedge fund index, daily unit pricing as well as the option of daily investments and withdrawals, subject to maintaining the minimum investment balance of AU$25,000 (US$21,000),” said Kate Wilkie, product specialist funds and alternative solutions in Australia.

The Credit Suisse/Tremont Hedge Fund Index is comprised of 438 funds as of the end of May.
